Many years of pro­fes­sional soft­ware devel­op­ment for test automa­tion sys­tems. And the com­mit­ment to develop the best and most robust trad­ing sys­tems for the finan­cial markets.

I am Alex Pressl and an automa­tion enthu­si­ast by heart. For over 20 years I am cre­at­ing automa­tion solu­tions mainly for the auto­mo­tive man­u­fac­tur­ers to allow them devel­op­ing and opti­mize cleaner engines for a pure and healthy envi­ron­ment. Pow­er­ful soft­ware tools and plat­forms which I devel­oped together with great teams over many years for the auto­mo­tive man­u­fac­tur­ers of all brands. By today these tools define the tech­no­log­i­cal stan­dard in that auto­mo­tive automa­tion niche, and if you own a car it is very likely that its emis­sion results are devel­oped using a soft­ware pack­age based on my devel­op­ment. In 2007 I found the trad­ing automa­tion as a very inter­est­ing area, started to devel­oped own trad­ing sys­tems and gained a great know how of the major trad­ing platforms.

My pas­sion always has been real-time data, visu­al­iza­tion and pro­cess­ing. I love sophis­ti­cated ways to show the core of an idea to reveal­ing the non-obvious things. Stock charts are bor­ing at first, but I found many ways to pimp the charts in order to open more insights to me and under­stand the met­rics behind mar­kets crys­tal clear. Trad­ing robots don’t need charts like this, but I love them to study, since then it comes clearer for me to imple­ment a logic into code, and I can judge if these androids are doing what we asked them to do, or just fool around with our money. You can find none of my analy­sis charts any­where else, they are very unique and sharp, since this is what I love most.

Over recent years I devel­oped what we call here the Wolf strat­egy, and I was miss­ing a few small things, which I learned when I started to join this out­stand­ing team of finan­cial automa­tion guys, and I am spe­cially hon­ored to work now with Jack, an Icon of auto­mated trad­ing. “The %C” guy who has win­ning and sta­ble strate­gies at Futures Truth for many years in the top 10 of world class trad­ing sys­tems. He brings a wealth of expe­ri­ence and strat­egy ideas to inspire and day by day we see improve­ments in our strate­gies unfold and get­ting closer to the ulti­mate goal; higher win­ning rates, more prof­itabil­ity, sta­ble and robust sys­tems which exe­cute reli­able generic across instru­ments and years of history.

The plat­forms are always a big issue in our work and unfor­tu­nately there is no sin­gle plat­form which is opti­mal and can be con­nected to any bro­ker. Each has advan­tages, dis­ad­van­tages and we don’t want to make peo­ple mov­ing to another plat­form, just to be able to trade our sys­tems. That’s why the mul­ti­ple plat­form idea was born, to be able to exe­cute a sin­gle strat­egy code on the major plat­forms with­out changes and close results.

We are not there, but on a fast move. A few strate­gies we have work­ing now very sim­i­lar across TradeSta­tion, Nin­ja­Trader, Meta­trader, Strat­e­gyRun­ner. And we decided to share this out­stand­ing result with you.
